Loyalty to country ALWAYS. Loyalty to government when it deserves it.

Loyalty to country ALWAYS. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it.
Mark Twain (1825-1910)

Since the beginning of time big government has been known to dominate the people of a country. It’s called totalitarianism and its something the framers of the United States Constitution had on the top of their agenda when founding the principles and laws that would govern this new nation.

At its core is the 3 coequal branch government system. As many learned in high school Civics class they are: the Executive (Office of The President), Judicial (The Supreme Court), and Legislative (Congress) branches.

Loyalty to country means you support this gift of liberty and the structure that’s kept the world from being overthrown by a Communist government.

Many confuse it thinking it’s a straight democracy. Nothing could be further from the truth. Straight democracies fail always. That’s mob rule. That’s like having ten people vote to steal a car and if 6 say yes then so it is.

Loyalty to country ALWAYS. Loyalty to government, when it deserves it.

Mark Twain (1825-1910)

The USA is a Republic. That means we have elected officials sworn to protect the laws. In this system when 10 people vote whether they should steal a car the law over rules the vote and says stealing a car is illegal. Elected officials ensure the law is followed and a much more secure and effective civilization exists. The democracy is within the republic.

Mark Twain is referring to being loyal this structure of country and not allowing the big government to break down the election process that ensures individuals are elected who take their oath seriously.
